Scottish Barber Competitions Return to the SEC, Glasgow
The Scottish Barber competitions will be returning to the SEC, Glasgow on Sunday 28th and Monday 29th April 2019.
Hosted as part of the Scottish Hair & Barber trade shows, the Barber Stage, sponsored by Andis, will feature the live finals of Scotland’s Best Barber, as well as announce the winner of Scotland’s Best Student Barber.
Plus, this year Andis, the Great British Barbering Academy and Styling Products UK are searching for Scotland’s Best Barbering College, a brand new addition to the competitions.
The competitions aim to recognise professional and student barbers for their work, providing them with a chance to showcase their skills to a panel of expert judges. Those wishing to take part in the competitions have until the 31st March to enter and can do so by visiting www.ScottishHairandBeautyShow.com.
Last year, Sam Massey was crowned Scotland’s Best Barber 2018 and Blayre Turnball was named Scotland’s Best Student Barber, and Sam will be returning to the exhibition to showcase his award-winning skills.
The Barber Stage will also see a host of leading Scottish barbering talent perform a range of demonstrations, from cutting and shaving techniques to styling and colouring.
Scottish Hair & Barber is a national hair and barber trade show which runs alongside the Scottish Beauty exhibition at the SEC, Glasgow. 350 brands from across the barber, hair and beauty sectors will be in attendance, with talks and live demonstrations providing attendees with the chance to learn about the latest trends, products and techniques, gain business advice and network amongst thousands of other professionals.
